Job Purpose:

The suitable candidate will be required to analyse user experience data, concept and develop digital projects, lead effective digital marketing strategies for clients and ensure new business opportunities receive world-class pitch documents. They will play a pivotal role in growing the business, customer base and improving user experience across all projects and client campaigns. They will also need experience in and a big passion for digital technologies and all digital marketing channels.

Key Objectives & Accountabilities

  1. Strategic Recommendations
    – Create presentations for new and existing clients based on research and insights
    – Conceptualise new ideas that are fresh and dynamic for the design, content and creative teams
    – Take ownership of new ideas and implement them from concept to the final product
    – Implement good command of written and spoken English, formally and conceptually
    – Prepare strategic presentations with the relevant visuals
    – Manage strategic direction for presentations with the design department and client service teams
    – Create marketing frameworks through positioning statements, consumer personas, digital consumer journeys and brand plans to ensure integrated strategic direction is achieved
  2. Research and Insights
    – Develop full and clear understanding of existing and new clients and their business
    – Must be able to conduct competitor analysis and recommendations
    – Keep abreast of the latest digital trends to benefit new and existing clients
    – Maintain a knowledge bank of research for industry verticals
    – Analyse existing client and user data for strategic insights
    – Keep up to date with audience preferences and proactively suggest new campaigns across all client portfolios
  3. Content Direction and Support
    – Assist with content creation for social media and websites linked to a written strategy
    – Ensure content calendars are in line with strategy
    – Test new platform features regularly and report back on results
    – Guide content and creative teams to maintain strategic integrity

Other :

– Produce and present high-quality pitch presentations (both internal and client-facing)
– Support and direct strategic inputs with Client Service Management and assist with positioning potential upsells
– Coach and support Copy and QA department with deliverables that align with creative goals
– Work closely with Design, Content and Client Service Management and ensure alignment with client objectives
– Assist with potential on-site production projects and provide strategic direction
– Coach and develop all junior staff

Ideal Background
Education: Relevant qualification in Advertising, Communications and / or Marketing.

Languages:
Business English

Experience:

3 to 5 yearsโ€™ experience in similar role, preferably in a digital agency environment with familiarity in all aspects of Digital Marketing and Social Media
